Mission/Vision
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is “Seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ through Christian Education, Worship and Evangelism.”
VISION STATEMENT
A Divine Connection: “As we stay connected to Christ and with one another, we can be productive citizens for the kingdom of God.”
“Expecting God as we Experience God” John 15:5
Core Purpose: To honor God by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are called to intentionally forgive and love within Christ. (1 Peter 4:8) We are commanded to love because He loved us first, and our love acts as a testament to God’s presence and character in the world.
Preaching/Teaching: Declaring the Word to transform lives.
This sacred duty demands courageous, faith-filled declarations, aligning human speech with divine Scripture to dismantle negative patterns and promote spiritual growth. Genuine proclamation is a “living” message, embodied by the messenger and led by the Holy Spirit to alter how individuals think and live.
By sharing the Word, believers not only undergo internal transformation but also become catalysts for change in the world.
Community/Care: Creating a loving community of believers.
Creating a loving community of believers entails nurturing intentional, Christ-centered relationships that promote mutual care, unity in diversity, and spiritual growth. Grounded in scriptural teachings (such as Ephesians 4:11-16, John 13:34-35), this journey transforms a congregation from a simple organization into a nurturing, living family.
Equipping: Enabling the church for service.
Enabling the church for service means providing believers with the authority, resources, and knowledge to utilize their spiritual gifts, both within the church and in the wider community. It necessitates a transition from a staff-driven model to a servant-leadership approach that encourages ministry ownership, fosters initiative, and depends on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
